Frequent questions
What is the duty cycle of an electric platform?
8 hours of load x 8 hours of work x 8 hours of rest.
What type of extension light should be used to charge the batteries for the rigs?
It must be 3 poles, 12 gauge. With a maximum of 15 m. long and only 3 teams can be loaded.
How should the charger plug and cord be found?
The plug must be physically in good condition with its connection terminals clean and functional. The cord should not measure more than 25 cm.
Can I leave the platform charging overnight or all weekend?
Yes. All platforms have a smart charger which is electronically designed to start and stop automatically when the batteries are fully charged and you do not have to consider the time to turn it off manually.
Can you work with the platform when it is charging the battery?
No. When the machine is charging, the battery charging cycles must be followed. If you work while the platform is connected, the batteries will heat up and cause to remain without liquid and the batteries will be damaged. The charger will also suffer from this operation and could be damaged.
What is the duty cycle of a combustion deck?
24 hours of work x 2 hours of rest (internal combustion platforms do not have a work cycle as such, since it is like a car, as long as it has all its fluid levels adequately and enough gasoline, it can continue working for undefined hours) .
Can you work on a slope?
No. All the hydraulic cylinders or pistons that are installed in the platforms have safety valves (check valves) that only open when pressure is applied to the hydraulic pump and can support the weight of the platform.
Depending on the degrees of the slope, the inclination limit is 5 degrees. Platforms are designed with a counterweight to give you balance for working on flat surfaces. You can work on an inclined surface as long as you do not exceed the limit. If the limit is exceeded, the machine will beep and then lock up.
If a hose bursts, would the platform collapse when in use?
How do you know if you can work on a slope?
To determine the degree of the slope, the following operation must be carried out: VERTICAL / HORIZONTAL X 100 = RESULTS. Do not drive the platform on a slope that exceeds the established grade values. The slope value applies to machines in the stowed position.
Can you work with a low tire?
No. The tires are essential for the balance of the platform, when the tire is low or flat there is a risk of tipping when the platform is raised.
Can you work with a worn tire?
It depends on the wear. It can always be used when it is a natural wear, if the wires are seen or it presents banquets, it will be evaluated by the technician for its replacement.
How much weight can the baskets support?
The nominal weight is 227 kg (2 people plus tools) but it always depends on the equipment.
Can you work on the platform when it rains?
To evaluate. It will be possible to work in the rain as long as the following factors do not exist:
-
It's not a thunderstorm.
-
That there are no strong winds.
-
That the platform is not connected to the power outlet.
How can I find out the model, year and series of the platform?
All platforms have an information plate or label. It is regularly installed in either of the 2 engine compartments.
What is the nominal voltage that the charger must be powered with to start charging the batteries?
The voltage is 110/127 VAC.
